Mira Bai

My name is Mira and my passion is Crystal Art. I so excited to be able to share my Crystal Photography and Intuitive Crystal KaleidoScapes (colorful Mandalas using crystals and photography) with you.

I have always loved art. As a child, it was drawing. As a young adult I was fascinated with Photography. A favorite uncle shared his Photography books with me and later, having held jobs in a couple of photography studios, I was hooked.

I fell in love with crystals the day I arrived in Washington State over a decade ago. I am still in awe at the splendor of each crystal- the colors, the shapes, the energies--truly nature's candy! When I opened my online crystal shop in 2004, it was my job to photograph the crystals I had for sale. I was determined to take a picture that shared with the viewer what I saw- an elusive rainbow within a crystal sphere, the magic of a Manifestation crystal, or the play of light that brought out the most unexpected colors in a Fire Opal. I enjoyed this part of the creative process more than anything.

Today, my unique crystal art is a combination of these two passions, Art and Photography. I find the creation process extremely exciting and new, each and every time. The Crystal KaleidoScapes (Mandalas) always illicit a unique and personal perspective. Everyone sees something different!

As well as the art you see here, I am currently creating a variety of additional items, including crystal grid kits, note cards, bookmarks, and magnets to be displayed and sold at next years local art fairs and events. It feels to be the perfect next step on my journey.
